Christmas Dress

This is a dress with no intended owner! It is a pattern size 5. The bodice is made from black velveteen and is lined. The dress bottom is a crisp plaid taffeta with pine green, black, royal purple and has gold threads running through it. There is a zipper closure in the back. I think the gold sash is a festive touch but can be removed if desired.

This blouse was originally intended for ME, but I failed to really measure the finished product and it is slightly too small for me. It looks okay but I'm sucking it in and it is small through the shoulders. I really love the fabric it has a stretch to it comfortable. Sooooo it will be for my sisters Christmas present. She has a much smaller frame and shoulder width than I so it should fit perfect.

Burda 9596

This is a christmas gift for one of my nieces. The construction of it was fairly easy, but it gave my machine a work out sewing through many layers to topstitch in some areas. Now the lining was a trial of my very short patience!

Here is my first try. I would like to be able to put pics of the things I make so everyone can see a good photo of the item. This is an outfit for the dressup trunk. Cinderella, not Snow White! Mir only wants Cinderella and princesses. The dress is from a basic pattern I had it works quite well. Especially since there is no need for a real zipper velcro works for dressup.

well this is my first try. I would like to use this so everyone can see the things that I have crafted sewed etc. Lets try the Cinderella dress for Miranda. They all love to dress up and the costumes for dress up are so fun......no zipper, just pretty fabric and lots of fussy items. This was a rush job.....no sparkles etc.. but I'm sure she will enjoy it. I plan to make another atleast so she can play with her friends and everyone will get to dress up.
